The Computer Troubleshooters group evolved as a result of the foresight of the directors Wilson and Suzanne McOrist. They saw small to medium business as the backbone of the economy (90% of all businesses) and recognized the need to supply computer support and maintenance services to this sector – a sector larger service companies often view as too difficult to handle. This foresight, and their vast experience in franchising, lead to the Computer Troubleshooters network and has helped forge it into the number one computer support organization for small and medium businesses, worldwide. Wilson and Suzanne have been involved in providing professional services to small business owners for over 18 years. In the 8 years from 1979 they developed a service bureau network of over 100 centers. In 1989 they started the Express Bookkeeping franchise and developed this into Australia’s leading computerized-bookkeeping network - with over 180 centers, around Australia and New Zealand. The first two Computer Troubleshooters locations were set up in 1997 and since then the organization has grown to over 100 locations in Australia, Canada, England, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore and the USA.
